SIFC's apex committee meeting postponed in the nick of time

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - A meeting of the apex committee of Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) has been postponed.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had summoned the SIFC meeting at his office on Saturday, Dunya News reported.
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Syed Asim Munir and other military and civil leaders were expected tp participate.
According to sources, the decisions of the Executive Committee were supposed to be ratified in the apex committee meeting.
Sources said the issues related to investment projects in the country had to be reviewed during the meeting. Apart from this, projects related to investment in Pakistan by China and the Gulf countries also were planned to be discussed.
